Meet the Team
Primrose Wilson CBE
Primrose is a Trustee and founder Chairman of the Follies Trust; she is also a Trustee of Irish Landmark Trust. Currently she is President of Ulster Architectural Heritage and Vice President of the Irish Georgian Society.

Primrose has initiated a number of successful projects on the island of Ireland including the Heritage at Risk register, European Heritage Open Days, Home & Dry programme and UAH/IGS Cross border Summer Schools
Ann Cassidy
Ann is a retired former nurse who moved to Kilmore village in c. 2002 with her late husband, the former Dean of St Patrick’s Cathedral in Armagh. Ann has experience of fundraising and voluntary work such as being a Friend of the University of the Third Age and of St Patrick’s Cathedral in Armagh. Ann is also a former occupant of the Robinson Library in Armagh and past President of the Rotary Inner Wheel of Armagh, a charitable organisation.
Conor Sandford (Chair)
Conor is an existing Civil Servant in the Heritage Sector in England and a current member of the Historic Buildings Council in NI. He has a degree in Archaeology, Palaeoecology and Geography as well as a Masters in Heritage Science. He grew up in Kilmore village, and undertook a ‘Couch to 144km’ sponsored run to raise awareness of the Kilmore Cottage as one of the few surviving thatched buildings left in NI.
John Matchett
John is a retired professional who is originally from the Kilmore area, has a keen interest in history and attends the adjacent Kilmore Church. When a child John remembers playing in the garden of the Kilmore Cottage and knowing its last occupants. John now works in the Health sector.
Sheilagh Winter
Sheilagh is a retired local businesswoman and professional seamstress from the Kilmore area.
Audrey Hampton
Audrey lives in the Kilmore area and studied archaeology at Queen’s University. Audrey currently works for HMRC.
Sean Hagan
Sean Hagan graduated in Law from Queen’s University and has practiced as a Solicitor since 1968, before retirement. Sean specialises in Planning and Licensing, is a member of the Royal Institute of Town Planning and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Sean served the community for many years on the local Council and through voluntary work with Ulster Architectural Heritage.
Brian Sandford (Secretary)
Brian is a farmer. He went to school in the adjacent Kilmore Old School and recalls the last occupants of the Kilmore Cottage. Brian has experience of voluntary work in community safety and is a resident of Kilmore and has been in local community initiatives over the years.
Averil Morrow (Treasurer)
Averil lives locally and currently works for the Education Authority. Averil is also a member of various other heritage-related voluntary community groups such as Ballyhagan and Kilmore Community Heritage Association.
